James Schneider M.S.

Hello, my name is James Schneider. I grew up in Buffalo, NY but did my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.  I returned home to attend Canisius College and acquired a Master’s Degree in Health and Human Performance. As part of that program I took the Cardiac Rehab specialty track.

I have been with Restore the Summer of 2018. Previously, I interned at an inpatient physical therapy practice that was part of a retirement community. All my experience has been with helping older adults reverse chronic disease progressions and take back their lives so they can enjoy their later years to the fullest. I have enjoyed helping people achieve all kinds of patient centered goals from losing 50 pounds, bringing their HbA1C down to normal ranges, or keeping up with their grand kids.

In my spare time I enjoy reading anything from wellness topics to history and even a few mystery thrillers here and there. As for activity I am big into hiking, especially in the mountains. I have been to the White Mountains in New Hampshire, the Adirondacks in New York, and the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. I’m also not too bad of a bowler and recently have been getting into pickle ball. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you to achieve the outcomes you are striving for!
